GUESS WHO'S BACK

Christmas was great, as usual, in the Perry house.  David dressed up as Cousin Eddie from Christmas Vacation, we got Gracie a "Mrs. Paws" outfit and since I couldn't find ANYWHERE the outfit I wanted to wear, I drank some egg nog instead.

David smoked 18 pounds of pork for Christmas Eve and we all ate pork and brunswick stew (a Perry family tradition).  Grandma was a hoot, she had me rolling, thanks to all the candy she ate.  This year, we headed to the mountains to see my mom's family on Christmas Day, and it was wonderful to see them.  I got sick and puked for 2 hours while there, but still managed to have a great Christmas.  Gracie got a bone from Uncle Lyle and played with it for 3 hours.  Score.

The best part about Christmas for me is decorating the house (would have been easier if I knew where all of our crap got stored) and spending time away from work with family.  I can't wait until we have a new house with a Christmas tree and can actually have the family over to our house for fun and merriment.

David smoked a chicken after Christmas, so there was Christmas pork and Christmas chicken in our fridge.  Enough to feed a third world country.  And it was my fault that I bought Christmas peanut M&Ms.  I knew David loved them, but oops....I do too!  time for Thanksgiving pants.

All in all, it was just great to spend time with David and our family.  We all had the same days off, so it worked out perfectly.  Despite forgetting something every step of the way.
