I kinda forgot I started a blog. Nothing too interesting has happened in our world since I last wrote anything, except for Christmas, so I imagine that's the primary reason I couldn't make the time to write again. I was also lazy and have preferred to watch basketball games, Christmas movies and play with Gracie.
But, there are big things happening at the Perry household now. David bought a smoker. Not just any smoker, a Weber Smokey Mountain Smoker. The boy is SO EXCITED and has already smoked about 40 pounds of meat.
My house smells like smoked meat. The dog has smoked meat drippings on her back (because, trust me, she couldn't be more excited about the thought of meat all over the house). On the plus side, we rarely have nothing in the fridge. In fact, the neighbors are having to store ribs in their freezer. We have pictures of all of this meat in its various stages of preparation and I hope to add those here soon.
My next post will probably be my journey to vegetarianism.
