CATCHING UP, PART 2

What was Emma up to in the month of July, 2014?

David asked her the color of his Gatorade.  She said "yellow."  It was blue.

She will say "hug" when she wants one.  And you better believe I go in for one hard when she asks.  Someday she might not ask anymore and it'll be the saddest of days.

She seems to be having more fun with Gracie.  This means she chases the dog around the kitchen and cackles.

She put herself to bed one night.  Said "bye bye night night" and walked herself on up the stairs.  If she could have changed her clothes, this would have been amazing.  She then insisted on a bath, heading straight to the tub and played with her toys.  I guess she knew she was dirty.

She likes to scream when you cut the water on in the tub.

She likes to feed Gracie her snacks and tell her "no, dog."

Everything is "Emma's."  Even Grandmommy's car.  We still haven't collected on that yet.

She likes to say "dad doo wee" when she wants to give you her plate.  I assume its her way of saying "here take this do this thank you."  But I'm guessing 80% of the time on what she really says anyway.

She's starting to combine words and put her own shoes on.  She also knows a couple of letters and some numbers.  We are so proud of our smart girl.

What was Emma up to in the month of August, 2014?

Emma says...  "Emma jump."  "I love you Mama."  "I love you Dadas."  "Oh gosh.  Poop"

She puts an "s" on the end of some words.  Daddy is Dadas.  Multiple.  I am just but one Mama, however.

When she wants a cup of water, she will say "tup."  I think it's derived from the English word top.  From a water bottle she must have had at some point in her tiny little life.

She is still a repeater, so one day, she said "spaghetti."  SAT words here we come.  She will also say "ABC" like she's about to sing the song.  But then she stops and moves on.....

There was much more Emma was up to in August, like turning TWO and going to the BEACH and having two birthday PARTIES and having her first KRISPY KREME and moving to a big kid CLASS....  More to come on the life and times of Emma P.
